Statistics about the 279 PPIN subgraphs in the dataset. The graphs are generally small, i.e. they have 9 nodes and 23 edges on average. The average and maximum path length among any two nodes in the graphs are short (\(\sim\)1.5 and \(\sim\)3), which is an expected property of PPINs. The clustering coefficient has a mean of 0.5, but there is a not negligible part of strongly connected and loosely connected graphs
