Workflow diagram. The workflow consists of two main phases. Phase I is the sample stratification that maximises the functional differences between low- and high-expressing RNA groups of a GOI. Phase II groups downstream analyses to better understand the biological role of the GOI, and includes differential analyses of the stratified samples, identification of the GOI protein community, and the functional profiling of the protein community. Phase II also includes two additional steps at the end, coloured in green, and meant to be performed by expert biologists using the data generated by the workflow
