Synergistic effect in selected double mutants. The effect was evaluated as the difference (Kid, green line) between the Ki value of the double mutant and the Ki value of the sum of the two corresponding single mutants. Ki1+2: Ki values of double mutants (blue diamonds); Ki1, Ki2: Ki values of the two single mutants (yellow and orange dots, respectively); Ki1+Ki2: sum of the Ki values of the two corresponding single mutants (red dots).
